Sprint 10 · 10 modules
Sprint 10 — Scale Playbook
Goal: turn MEM Academy from a founder-led delivery org into a repeatable, multi-region operation without losing the quality moat built in Sprints 1–9.
Modules in this sprint
- 01
01 — Scale Thesis
Scale without a thesis is just hiring. The thesis sets what we say yes to, and — more importantly — what we keep saying no to even when the cheque is large.
Module2 min read - 02
02 — Org Design by Stage
Org design follows the scale thesis (§01). We hire to relieve the binding constraint, not to fill an org chart template.
Module3 min read - 03
03 — Capacity Model
The capacity model converts coach hours into cohorts and cohorts into revenue. Every plan in this sprint reads from this model. It lives as a spreadsheet (or Notion DB); this file is the spec + a worked example.

04 — Unit Economics
Unit economics are the discipline that turns the capacity model (§03) into a business. We measure at three units: per cohort, per coach, per client account.

05 — Regional Expansion
We expand by region in sequence, not in parallel. Two regions launched at once historically halves the success rate of both. The order: deepen UK → second UK hub → first international beachhead → second international → multi-region structur

06 — International Localisation
What localises, what doesn't, and how we make the call without diluting the moat.

07 — Partnerships & Channels
Partnerships exist to extend reach where direct sales is uneconomic or slow. They are not a substitute for direct relationships with anchor accounts.

08 — Platform & Product Roadmap (18 months)
The platform exists to make cohort delivery + evidence reporting cheaper, faster, and more rigorous. Every feature must pass the test: does this reduce cost-to-deliver, or increase confidence factor, or both? If neither, it is descoped.

09 — Scale Risk Deltas
Scale doesn't replace the risks in Sprint 9 §06 — it adds new ones and re-weights existing ones. This file lists the deltas and how each is mitigated. Each row is added to the live register at the QSR that approves the corresponding stage m

10 — Two-Year Operating Plan (plan-on-a-page)
The two-year plan ties Sprints 1–10 into a single page that any new joiner can read in 5 minutes. It is reviewed at every QSR (Sprint 9 §05) and is the only place where the company's bets, numbers, and constraints sit together.

Sprint overview
Sprint 10 — Scale Playbook
Goal: turn MEM Academy from a founder-led delivery org into a repeatable, multi-region operation without losing the quality moat built in Sprints 1–9.
This is the final sprint of the curriculum pack. It assumes Sprints 3–9 are live: onboarding, hybrid delivery, sales, coach pipeline, evidence, and operating cadence are all running. Scale is what we do on top of that — not instead of it.

How this links to other sprints
- Sprint 5 (Hybrid dashboard) — capacity model in §03 reads from delivery telemetry
- Sprint 6 (Sales) — pricing model and ICP feed unit economics in §04
- Sprint 7 (Coach pipeline) — bench growth in §02/§03 is governed by accreditation throughput
- Sprint 8 (Evidence) — international expansion in §05/§06 must preserve confidence factor
- Sprint 9 (Cadence & risk) — §09 adds scale-specific rows to the live risk register

MEM is a self-serve resource library — your managers and staff work through the modules at their own pace, with the workbooks, runsheets and pocket cards provided. Coach-led delivery is available only for our corporate fitness sessions, not the educational modules. Every funded seat also opens a mirrored free seat for someone leaving prison, with SROI your board can sign off.
