05 · Vetting Checklist
Once per quarter, Compliance picks 3 coach files at random and times themselves pulling all 8 items. Target: <10 minutes per file. If any item is missing, the coach is paused (file 09) until resolved.

Sprint overview
Sprint 7 — Coach Recruitment & Accreditation Pipeline
Owner: Head of Coaching · Status: Shipped · Audience: Internal (Coaching Ops, People, Compliance) + external coach applicants.
Why this sprint exists
Sprints 1–6 sold and scoped the hybrid programme. None of it lands without a bench of accredited coaches who:
- Meet a defined competency bar (clinical-adjacent, NOT clinical).
- Are vetted for safeguarding (DBS, references, right-to-work).
- Are matched to cohorts using the Sprint 3 rubric.
- Are kept current via CPD, supervision, and quality assurance.
Competitor gap (see docs/corporate-competitor-gap-analysis.md): EAPs hide their coach bench, "coaching marketplaces" let anyone with a Level 5 self-certify, and most B-Corp wellbeing providers can't produce coach files on audit. We publish ours.

Quality gates (must be true before this sprint ships to a client)
- Every active coach has a complete file: framework score, DBS date, RTW evidence, 2 references, insurance certificate, signed code of conduct.
- No coach delivers without ≥1 observed session in the last 12 months scored ≥3/5 on the QA rubric.
- Supervision: every coach attends ≥1 group supervision per quarter and ≥2 1:1 supervision sessions per year.
- Scope: every coach has signed the FCA boundary card (Sprint 4 / 01) and the No-Clinical-Services scope (
mem://constraints/no-clinical-services). - An auditor can pull a random coach file in <10 minutes and find all of the above.
What this sprint deliberately does NOT do
- It does not turn coaches into therapists, dietitians, or financial advisers. Scope is fixed by Sprints 2 (menopause), 4 (financial wellbeing FCA boundary), and the no-clinical-services memory.
- It does not build a public coach marketplace. Coaches are assigned by the Account Manager using the Sprint 3 rubric.
- It does not replace clinical supervision where it's needed (e.g. a coach working with safeguarding disclosures uses the Sprint 4 warm-handoff scripts, not in-house clinical sign-off).
Next sprint
Sprint 8 — Evidence & Impact reporting (board-grade SROI pack, annual impact report, third-party assurance prep). Say "ship 8" to proceed.

MEM is a self-serve resource library — your managers and staff work through the modules at their own pace, with the workbooks, runsheets and pocket cards provided. Coach-led delivery is available only for our corporate fitness sessions, not the educational modules. Every funded seat also opens a mirrored free seat for someone leaving prison, with SROI your board can sign off.
