Lesson 4 of 7

Get found globally — content, SEO and discovery

~10 min

Learning objectives

  • Make your content discoverable beyond your country
  • Use niche keywords that travel internationally
  • Build a simple multi-platform discovery system
  • Stop relying only on local word-of-mouth

Discovery is the engine of global growth

Local PTs grow through gyms, word-of-mouth and walk-bys. Global PTs grow through discovery — search, social, YouTube, podcasts, communities. If a client in another country cannot find you when they search the problem they have, you do not exist to them.

Discovery is built one piece of niche-led content at a time, over months. The compounding is huge — but it requires showing up consistently inside one niche.

Use keywords that travel

Avoid keywords tied only to your city. Use phrases your beachhead market actually searches: 'online postpartum strength coach', 'online fat loss coach for expats', 'online vegan strength programme'. These work in every English-speaking country.

Use the AI Marketer + AI Content Generator to surface keyword variations. Build a 20-keyword list and rotate them across your content.

One platform deep, one platform supporting

Trying to be everywhere kills global growth. Pick one primary discovery platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google/SEO, or a podcast) and go deep. Pick one supporting channel (email, MEM-Connect, LinkedIn) to nurture people who find you.

Your MEM profile is the destination — the place people land, see your offer and book. Everything else points there.

Founder insight — Derrick Twum

MEM-Connect, your MEM profile and the platform's content tools are built to be a coach's global shopfront. The work is making sure people in your target market actually find their way there.

Key takeaway

Global growth = niche content + travel-friendly keywords + one deep platform + one destination (your MEM profile).
