Sprint 9 · 10 modules

Sprint 9 — Operating Cadence & Live Risk Register

Goal: install the meeting cadence, decision rights, and risk discipline that keeps MEM Academy delivering at quality as headcount, cohorts, and clients scale.

Modules in this sprint

  1. 01

    01 — Operating Cadence

The cadence is deliberately small. Fewer, sharper meetings beat a packed calendar.

  2. 02

    02 — Decision Rights & RACI

Decision rights live in one place so we stop relitigating "who calls this?".

  3. 03

    03 — Weekly Delivery Review

    ` Cohort: <client> / <cohort code> Week: W<n> of <total>

  4. 04

04 — Monthly Business Review (MBR)

    1. Headline scorecard — the 12 KPIs from 10-kpi-and-leading-indicators.md, MoM + vs plan 2. Delivery — cohorts live/closed/won/lost; aggregate health (RAG); confidence factor trend 3. Commercial — pipeline by stage, win rate, ACV, cycle tim

  5. 05

05 — Quarterly Strategy Review (QSR)

    1. Score the quarter just ended (OKRs, KPIs, risks). 2. Decide what to start / stop / continue. 3. Set OKRs and top-10 risks for the next quarter.

  6. 06

    06 — Live Risk Register

The register is live — kept in Notion / Linear (whichever holds the source of truth), reviewed at every MBR, re-ranked every QSR. This file is the schema, scoring, and the current top-15 snapshot.

  7. 07

    07 — Risk Policies & Control Library

For every risk family in 06-risk-register.md, this file lists the policies and active controls. Controls are either preventive (P) or detective (D) or corrective (C).

  8. 08

    08 — Incident Response Runbook

An incident is any unplanned event that affects participants, clients, staff, data, or our public standing. This runbook tells anyone in the company what to do in the first 60 minutes.

  9. 09

    09 — Escalation Matrix

When in doubt, escalate. Escalation is information, not failure.

  10. 10

    10 — KPIs & Leading Indicators

The 12 numbers the exec watches every week. If a metric is not on this list, it is not a KPI — it is an operational metric that lives in a function dashboard.

Why this matters

The cost of doing nothing.

17.1m

UK working days lost to mental ill-health in 2022/23

HSE, 2023

£51bn

MEM is a self-serve resource library — your managers and staff work through the modules at their own pace, with the workbooks, runsheets and pocket cards provided.
