Lesson 1 of 6
What to build in the first 30 days
Learning objectives
- Pick the smallest set of foundations to build first
- Avoid building anything that isn't needed in days 1–30
- Get one paid offer live and one content rhythm in place
- Define what 'done' looks like at day 30
The day-30 minimum
A complete MEM coach profile, one clear paid offer with a price, one weekly content rhythm shipped twice, and a working way to take payment and onboard a client. Everything else waits.
What to deliberately not build yet
No new course, no merch, no CIC paperwork, no second platform. Days 1–30 are about being findable, sellable and deliverable — nothing else earns yet.
Day-30 'done' definition
Profile live, offer live, payment tested, two content pieces shipped, one conversation booked with a potential client. That's the bar — pass it before moving to days 31–60.
Founder insight — Derrick Twum
The coaches who stall in month one almost always tried to build month-three things in week one. Discipline in the first 30 days is the whole game.
Key takeaway
Days 1–30: findable, sellable, deliverable. Profile + offer + payment + 2 posts + 1 sales conversation. Nothing else.
Reflection questions
- 1Is your MEM profile actually live and complete?
- 2Is there one paid offer with a clear price?
- 3Has someone paid you through the system end-to-end?
- 4What month-three task are you tempted to start early?
Action task
Write your 5 day-30 done items and tick the ones already complete today.
