Lesson 6 of 6
Weekly review rhythm
Learning objectives
- Run a 15-minute Friday review every week without skipping
- Use a fixed 4-question template — no blank pages
- Decide one move for next week based on the review
- Use the review to update the day-90 dashboard
The 15-minute Friday review
Same day, same time, same place, every week. 15 minutes. Phone away. The cost of skipping a review is always higher than the cost of running a bad one.
The 4 questions
1. What moved the 4 numbers this week? 2. What didn't I do that I said I would? 3. What's the one most important move next week? 4. What needs cutting or escalating?
Feed the dashboard
Update the 4 numbers on the one-page dashboard during the review. By day 90 the trendlines themselves tell you what to keep, kill and double.
Founder insight — Derrick Twum
The Friday review is the single highest-leverage 15 minutes of the week. Skip it for three weeks and you'll feel the drift before you can name it.
Key takeaway
15 minutes, 4 questions, every Friday. Feed the dashboard, decide the one move for next week.
Reflection questions
- 1When and where will your Friday review happen?
- 2Is the 4-question template saved somewhere you'll actually open?
- 3What was the one most important move from last week?
- 4What's the cost of skipping the review for a month?
Action task
Book the recurring Friday 15-minute review and save the 4-question template where you'll see it.
